Eleanor Andressen
Chief Academic Officer, Trinity College London

Dr. Eleanor Andressen was recently appointed to the position of Chief Academic Officer at Trinity College London. She has a background in Product Development and Research and has worked for other major awarding organisations in the UK such as City & Guilds and Pearson. Eleanor has significant international experience in vocational reform projects for Jordan and Turkey, for example, and last year fulfilled the role of Interim Vice Chancellor at the newly established British International University in Erbil (Iraq).
Eleanor has a PhD in Education and an MSc in Continuing Education and Training. She has a particular interest in vocational education and training, and assessment cultures. As a member of the Association of Educational Assessors (AEA) Europe, she Chairs the Assessment Cultures Special Interest Group and is in the process of setting up another SiG with a focus on Assessment in Qualifications for Work.
Eleanor is a peer reviewer for the Higher Education and Work-Based Learning journal and the journal for Educational Assessment, Evaluation and Accountability. She is in her fifth year of judging the annual awards for the e-Assessment Association.
